Sound made on your own device
Every session is generated live by your browser using the Web Audio API — the same technology behind music apps and games. We never download a pre-recorded tone; your browser synthesises clean tones from numbers while you listen.
That is why WaveRemedy needs no app store and no big downloads.
What a session is
A session plays a defined set of tones in a steady, repeating pattern. Stereo sessions play three tones at the same time: one in both ears, one in the right ear only and one in the left ear only. You can add a calm background sound — rain, ocean, forest, stream, fire, night or noise. The tones are always generated live in your browser; the background sounds are real recordings (or, for noise, generated in your browser) and are kept separate from the tones.
What you may not be able to hear
Some tones are very low (below about 20 Hz) or very high (above about 20,000 Hz). Phones, laptops and headphones cannot reproduce all of them, and human hearing has limits too. So every session carries a plain label:
- Ready to play — it plays exactly as listed; every tone is generated by your browser. Very low tones may be beyond what your speakers or headphones can reproduce; that is a limit of the device, and nothing is changed or left out.
- Reference only — kept in the library for completeness but not played, because playing only part of it would not be the same session. We never shift, squash or replace tones to make them fit.
Headphones, volume and safety
Start with the volume low and raise it slowly. Stop if anything feels uncomfortable. Do not listen while driving or operating machinery. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or use an implanted device, talk to your clinician first. Please read our Safety page.
Your free hour and Premium
Every account gets 60 minutes of listening in total. Time only counts while sound is actually playing — pausing does not use it, and signing out or switching device never resets it. When it runs out, playback stops gently; the rest of the app stays open. Premium removes the limit.
Use it like an app
On Android, choose “Install app” in your browser. On iPhone, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”. Keep the screen on while you listen: playback with the screen locked depends on your phone and browser, and we will not promise it until we have tested it on real devices.
What we do not do
We do not use artificial intelligence, we do not ask about your health, and we do not diagnose or treat anything. WaveRemedy is a listening experience.
